Congratulations PVT Evah Jane Donnelly!

Brief Description:
This piece of art was created for and inspired by my daughter, PVT Evah Jane F. Donnelly, as is evident
to the viewer. She, as so many service men and women have and will in the future, has made a very
commendable commitment. I am so proud of her and all those that 'serve' in our United States Military
Forces.

The eagle was the most time consuming aspect of this piece. He had to have an appearance of, a com-
manding and powerful presence, that personified strength of conviction without emotion, demanding of
respect. This overall demeanor is paramount to accentuate the honourable achievement depicted in
this piece.

The rest of the work, the elements, including colours, are all to add symbolisation to signify the United
States of America with the flag and the United States Army's colours, dark green and orange-yellow,
just as two examples. 

I will do commissions with this work and have for two others to date. The name on the ribbon and the
information on the plaque area on the bottom are made applicable for the person it is made to honour.
